(Monitoring Desk) - Mukesh Ambani, Asia's richest man with a net worth of $113 billion, owns some of the most expensive real estate in the world. Among his prized properties is his residence in Mumbai, India, called Antilia, which ranks as one of the world's most expensive houses. But is it costlier than the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, located in Dubai?

Antilia

Antilia rises to a height of 568 feet on Mumbai's Altamount Road, known as the city's billionaires' row. The 27-floor building dedicates the top six floors to Reliance Industries' owner Mukesh Ambani's wife, Nita, their sons Akash and Anant, Akash's wife Shloka, and their children Prithvi and Veda. Constructed by two US firms between 2004 and 2010, Antilia cost approximately INR 15,000 crore, according to DNA India.

Burj Khalifa

The Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, soars to an impressive height of 2,716 feet in Dubai. It features 163 floors with a mix of commercial, residential, and hospitality spaces. Built by a South Korean firm between 2004 and 2010, the Burj Khalifa cost $1.5 billion to construct, which is over INR 12,000 crore today, according to DNA India.

Therefore, despite its towering height, the Burj Khalifa was constructed at a lower cost than Mukesh Ambani's Antilia.
